Technical dynamics
1. The official German website is online now.
2. We fixed some known bug of KYC system and completed its optimization.
3. We completed the UI interface and operation process optimization of NewPay-Android version 1.0, and added a message push function.
4. We have completed the NewPay-iOS 1.0 version of the imported wallet performance improvements, UI adaptation and other functions.
5. We have completed the UI design of blockchain browsing version 1.0, and added a transaction list and the function of verification node.
6. We completed the design and production of the NewIOT-0.1 hardware prototype and the development of related tool chains. The hardware prototype has been successfully applied in the development of smart electric meters.
Team dynamics
1.On July 9, 2018, the Newton founder Mr. Jizhe Xu and Newton advisor Mr.Dinghe Hu were invited to attend the second special training lecture of Chongqing Grain Group’s 2018 “Daoshu School” held in the conference hall of State-owned Assets Supervision & Administration Commission of Chongqing Provincial, China. The middle managers of more than 300 subsidiaries of Chongqing Grain Group participated in the training. Mr. Xu and Mr. Hu gave a lecture on blockchain knowledge training for the participants. The audience responded very enthusiastically.
Chongqing Grain Group is one of the 22 state-owned key enterprises directly managed by the Chongqing Municipal Committee. It is the largest grain enterprise group in southwest China with total assets of 24 billion.
2. On July 14, 2002, Newton founder Mr. Jizhe Xu, Newton co-founder Mr. Shubin Li, and Newton cornerstone investor Mr. Haifeng Ye and the founder of paidai.com Mr. Kongyu Xing, conducted a conversation discussing on further expanding the scope of commercial resources integration.
3. On the evening of July 12, 3.2018, Newton cornerstone investor Mr. Haifeng Ye, who is also the founder of maibaobao.com, attended the salon sponsored by the “Jiaxing E-Commerce Industry Association” and made a keynote speech on “The Trend of Blockchain E-Commerce Development”, shared the business economic model of the Newton project and its current progress.
More than 80 people from local sellers and some blockchain fans attended the salon. The manufacturing industry and e-commerce industry in Jiaxing,Zhejiang Province are renowned all over the China and well developed in recent decades, especially in commodities such as clothes, bags and mother and child supplies. At the salon, some e-commerce sellers said that the traditional e-commerce platform transaction costs are getting higher and higher, making them feel pressured, and they hope that there will emerge a new business model to change the status quo. After in-depth discussion and exchange, all participants were exciting and full of expectation for Newton’s new blockchain e-commerce platform, i.e. NewMall. Most merchants expressed their hope to be able to start a business in NewMall as soon as possible.
Community dynamics
1. A total of 21 new Chinese Newton communities have been developed this week, with a total of about 1,500 new members.
2. The number of Telegram English communities increased from 14012 to 14,604 this week, with a growth rate of 4.2%. The number of Telegram Chinese community increased from 3,231 to 3,289 this week, with a growth rate of 1.8%. The number of Telegram Japanese communities increased to 200.
