Newton’s legal advisers are continuously working on legal & compliance. Now, Newton officially announces the open of the second round token exchange channel. Individuals or institutional users from different countries are welcome to participate in the KYC process, submitting real identity information.
2. We have completed the prototype development of the NewKey hardware wallet. The NewKey will coordinate with NewChain and NewIot to manage users’ accounts.
Team dynamics
1. On June 29, 2018, Mr. Jizhe Xu, the founder of Newton, was invited to attend the “Digital Enlightenment, Consensus Night” jointly held by huoxing24.com and JRRCrypto. At the same time, Mr. Martti Malmi (aka Siriu), a developer of the Satoshi Nakamoto’s core development team, attended this event as an important guest.
Since the spring of 2009, Mr. Martti Malmi (aka Siriu) has contributed code to the Bitcoin project and he is responsible for the operation of the project. During 2009–2011, Mr. Martti Malmi managed bitcoin.org and bitcointalk.org (bitcoin forum) through the server in Helsinki, Finland. Mr. Jizhe Xu and Mr. Martti Malmi have an in-depth discussion on the practical application of blockchain technology and the Newton project.
2. On the afternoon of June 29, 2018, Newton co-founder Shubin Li was invited to attend the “2018 Yiwu Intelligent Manufacturing Node — The First Global Blockchain Technology Application Summit” held in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province. He gave a wonderful speech and introduced Newton project.
The summit was under the guidance of Yiwu Municipal Government, organized by Yiwu Information Optoelectronic Hi-tech Zone, Yiwu Economic and Information Committee, Beijing Yichuang Space Investment Management Co., Ltd., and the Creative Young Community.
The conference focused on discussing the current status of blockchain technology development in the world, how to cultivate China’s blockchain talents and how to promote the excellent blockchain technology team to serve the China’s real economy, and how to apply blockchain technology to local enterprises.
Yiwu has a global reputation for business. Local entrepreneurs have abundant resources and open minds. Mr. Shubin Li’s speech triggered the recognition and resonance of many local outstanding entrepreneurs.
