NewPay:
The development of NewPay 1.6 has been completed and New1.6 launched on the testnet, supporting NRC6 pass and NewSwap related functions.
NewSwap:
1. NewSwap-Interface development completed and launched the testnet.
2. NewSwap-Info completed the development and launched the testnet.
NewExplorer:
1. The development of the token section of the browser is completed and the testnet is launched to support the display of NRC6 tokens and contract analysis.
2. Fixed several data errors and display errors.
NewChain:
1. Newton browser plug-in wallet newton-extension has been transplanted and developed. It supports Chrome and FireFox browsers and is now online.
2. NewChain token issuance tool NewAsset Generator has been transplanted and developed and is now online.
3. NewBridge cross-chain mechanism optimizatied.
4. Two machine nodes have been added to the testnet this week, and there are currently 14 accounting nodes in the NewChain testnet.
❏ Ecosystem Progress
According to the official website of Miaocai Digital, the “White Paper for Miaocai Digital” was released on September 23, 2020. On September 25, Miaocai Digital issued token MCT at the block height of Newton’s main network block 18619065. MCT is the equity token of the Miaocai Digital DAO organization, which is gradually tokenized in accordance with the organizational governance structure and incentive mechanism described in the white paper.
❏ Community News
1. On September 26, after the release of the NewAsset Generator and NewSwap testnet, the NewChain token issuing tools, the community actively participated. According to the display on the blockchain browser of the NewChain testnet, 126 tokens have been issued on the testnet, and more than 10 of them have been added to the NewSwap testnet token list after reviewing.
After experiencing the one-click operation of issuance and trading, the community friends have a deeper personal experience of the more convenient and low-cost advantages of Newton’s infrastructure.
2. By the end of last week, there were 55 Newton community candidate nodes, and the number of elected nodes was 51. The amount of NEW locked in nodes exceeded 7.507 billion.
3. By the end of last week,NEW had more than 731,100 addresses, the number of NewID had exceeded 660 thousdand and NewTax had collected more than 29.45 million NEW.
