1 NewChain’s main network related service architecture, security architecture, network architecture design and verification have all been completed
2 Development has wrapped up on NewPay’s NewID, and a prototype for NewPuzzle has been developed and is entering the integration test phase.
3 NewExplorer has introduced a number of holdings.
4 Portuguese, Croatian and Bulgarian white papers and a Community Voice section have been added to Newton’s website. Some page updates have also been completed.
5 Newton’s website back-end analytics system has added new traffic analysis, community analysis, full-text search, and other functions.
❏ Team News
1. Xu Jizhe, the founder of Newton, met with Newton’s Korean community members to discuss cooperation on 8 October.
2. This week, Mr Xu spoke with team members and deployed the optimization of Newton’s ecosystem incentive mechanism, Newton Super Node Summit, Newton main network progress, NewMall overall progress, and other matters.
3. Newton’s Advisor, Theodore Gray, will attend the 2018 Mars Blockchain New York Summit on October 18. The theme of the summit is NEXT STEP and it will focus on topics such as the blockchain economic model, policy regulation, market dynamics and development direction for in-depth exchange, so as to brainstorm ideas and build consensus.
Mr. Gray will present the innovative and applied prospects of the Newton Project in the panel on public chain governance and applications.

1. Newton’s Global 100 Cities Tour — Tokyo Station, organized by the BlockTec team, will be held from 18:30–20:30 on October 23. Mr. Xu will attend and deliver a speech, and later attend a series of events in Tokyo.
2. This week, Newton started Vietnamese, Indonesian and German Telegram groups. Currently, Newton has 43 social media groups from 24 countries and regions around the world. We welcome more friends to join us in building a global community.

1. This week, Talking Blockchain, a blockchain media outlet, published an interview video and article on Xu Jizhe, entitled Xu Jizhe — The Essence of Blockchain is to Scale Up Fair and Reasonable Distribution Mechanisms, which elaborates on the economic infrastructure of the Newton Project.
2. This week, international media such as Cryptonea comprehensively reported on the Newton Project, focusing on Newton’s technical advantages and ecosystem, and systematically explaining Newton’s hyper exchange protocol.
