❏ Team dynamics
1. On August 10, 2018, Newton founder Mr. Jizhe Xu was invited to be the guest of “quark community” to share his views on the current development of the blockchain through online methods. Mr. Xu has introduced Newton values, project ideas and implementation methods to the online community members.
2. On August 7, 2018, Newton co-founder Mr. Shubin Li, and Newton advisor Mr. Dinghe Hu, and Newton cornerstone investors Mr. Jun Liu and Guo Feng, organized a seminar on the Newton Ecological Incentive Program. The seminar invited representatives from both the “Moon Cloud” and “Bit headline” teams, which are interested in the running of Newton Super Nodes, to participate in the discussion, aiming at practicing the concept of “co-construction, common governance and sharing” in the social economy. The seminar has discussed and reached a number of consensuses and laid a solid foundation for building a sustainable Newton ecosystem.
3. On August 8, 2018, the blockchain financial platform “Bit Space” held the “Cryptocurrency Quantification Seminar”. Mr. Ye Haifeng, the Newton cornerstone investor, was invited to attend this seminar and gave a speech entitled “Newton: Infrastructure for Community Economy”.
Newton is committed to building a comprehensive structure of human-machine community, technology, accelerators, research, and ecological development funds，thereby creating a complete and stable ecology. The concept of “human-machine community” initiated by Newton is different from the simple concept of other machine nodes. In the Newton token economic model, participants and the community nodes composed of people can get corresponding incentives according to their contributions to the Newton ecology, and the word “mining” is given more abundant connotation.
4. On August 9th, 2018, Shunyi Industry Fund executives visited Newton and exchanged ideas with Newton’s co-founder Mr. Shubin Li and Newton advisor Dr. Dinghe Hu on the Newton token economic model, business economic model and future cooperation between Newton and Shunyi Industrial Fund.
Newton co-founder Mr. Shubin Li summarized the development history of e-commerce and pointed out the current pain points in the e-commerce industry, such as the high transactional cost, the centralization of users’ credit data, and the consumers’ contribution to the economic growth but did not receive corresponding incentives, etc., Newton will use blockchain and other advanced technologies to solve these pain points.
Shunyi Industry Fund is administered by the Shunyi District State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. In recent years, Shunyi District has focused on the development of various types of emerging finance, which has gradually become the highlights in the development of Beijing’s financial industry, promoting the rise of the financial industry and capital markets.
The representatives of both sides also discussed the application of blockchain technology, and the executives of Shunyi Industry Fund expressed their recognition of Newton’s model and business value. The representatives of both sides agreed to organize further exchanges between Newton and relevant departments in Shunyi District next week.
5.On the afternoon of August 11, 2018, Mr. Haifeng Ye, the Newton cornerstone investor and the founder of Maibaobao.com, and the partner of Haifeng Zhicheng Investment, was invited to attend “The 2018 China Blockchain Leading Talent Summit Forum” hosted by New Chain Technology. Mr. Ye gave a speech titled “Block Chain and Chain-commerce Economy”, which received an enthusiastic response from the attending 400 audiences including many leading figures in the blockchain industry. In his speech, Mr. Ye pointed out that the Newton project will provide the community economy with technology, operations, economic models, account systems, capital and other infrastructure. Based on the Newton project, commercial application scenarios such as shopping malls, supply chains, games, finance, and Internet of Things will be created. In response to the pain points of traditional e-commerce, Newton will build an infrastructure for e-commerce, allowing participants to easily engage in e-commerce. At the end of the speech, Mr. Haifeng Ye said that the Newton project is the project most likely to be realized in the blockchain industry.

1. On August 12, 2018, Mr. Captain Horatio Martin, an open source software movement supporter, hosted the blockchain symposia of the COSCUP 2018 Annual Conference and introduced the Newton project to more than 2,000 audiences from the global open source software community.
COSCUP is the annual conference of the open source software community in Taiwan. It originated in 2006 and is one of the important promoters of Taiwan’s free and open source software. COSCUP is designed to provide a platform for connecting open source code developers and users and promoters. The annual conference was held at the Taiwan University of Science and Technology and co-hosted by COSCUP in conjunction with two of Asia’s open source communities, GNOME. Asia and openSUSE. Asia.
